He is a self-driven and goal-oriented Drilling Consultant with over 20+ years experiences in the drilling industry. He earned best graduating student award during his HND program and later completed his post graduate diploma at River State University of Science where he studied Civil Engineering. Prior to his current role as Senior Drilling Superintendent with Eroton,
he has taken up diverse roles from project engineer to drilling engineer with Schlumberger and later on Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited as assistant drilling supervisor/wellsite drilling engineer. It was at SPDC he was promoted to senior drilling supervisor due to his hard work and input to the growth of the company and later went on to Work for Shell Oman.
He has gained years of experience with working for companies such as Saudi Aramco, Addax, Sahara Upstream, Scorpio Drilling International and Nestoil/Neconde. Amongst several awards and recognitions he earned two prestigious awards for excellence (Shukhran Award) for creating step changes in their drilling projects in which he led the team that cut down the project execution time from 102 days to 62 days which resulted in huge Financial savings at Shell International Petroleum Development, OMAN(PDO).
He is respected also as a builder and immense contributor to progress. While at Sahara Upstream he built up Sahara Drilling Department from a team of two to a robust and very experienced team of over 21 (Staff and Contract hires – Field and Office based).
